We focus on spin-related emergent phenomena at surfaces/interfaces and in reduced dimensionality. We also develop growth and characterization tools for related studies. Combining thin film growth and nano fabrication techniques, we fabricate quantum materials with exotic physical behavior and develop quantum devices for new computational architectures. The materials involved include various magnetic oxides, topological magnets, and artificially fabricated magnetic structures such as vertical and lateral superlattices, quantum object arrays etc.
